I enjoy doing this basic stuff, In the past we’ve done other project, some published some unpublished but Halloween is super exciting because marks the beginning of this celebration lane: Halloween - My Birthday - Thanksgiving - Christmas - New Years. There’s something in the air and a subtle yet nostalgic quality of light change in Southern California that makes things look a little bit foggy.

From all the things I read, the most important thing that kids remember growing up is those moments that you build memories with them, and I want to foster creativity and problem solving on my kids so I saw an opportunity given my son’s fascination with Pixar’s Cars, and the lack of good quality costumes for toddlers of Tow Mater. After a lot of Pinterest searching, yes I may be the only dude using actively Pinterest, I decided to get creative so we embarked ourselves in the creation of a box made tow mater.

We didn’t go too fancy, we just used materials at hand: boxes, aluminum foil, color construction paper, aluminum foil and paint.

The result was not perfect but the resulting memories will be. Can’t wait for this little guy to walk around the neighborhood with this.
